Event Details
Effectively managing leaves of absence and the reasonable accommodation process can be challenging for even the most experienced HR professionals.
In Part 1 of our two-part annual update, we will review the key leave laws applicable to California employers, including Pregnancy Disability Leave, the ADA/Fair Employment and Housing Act, the FMLA/CFRA, and California’s “miscellaneous” leave provisions, such as jury duty, rehabilitation leave, time off for school activities and others. Using case studies and hypotheticals, attendees will apply these laws in real world situations to gain a better understanding of how they work and interact with one another.
Attendees will receive many practical tools, including a summary of recent court decisions, checklists, charts, resources for finding accommodation ideas, and more! This program is updated every year!
Registration is at 8:30 a.m.
