Julia Melnicoe Insel’s practice primarily focuses on providing advice and counsel to employers on workplace topics. She also assists employers with responding to employee complaints through state agencies such as the California Department of Fair Employment and Housing.
Julia helps clients prepare numerous types of employee agreements and policies, including confidentiality and arbitration agreements, as well employee handbooks. She provides behind-the-scenes guidance to HR and management in making complex employment decisions. She is an experienced litigator and provides practical advice to help clients stay out of court.
Julia has co-authored many articles on employment law for the California Employment Law Letter and other publications.
