What’s New?

Tell Us the Topics You Want to Cover in our Annual Handbook Seminar!

by Jennifer Shaw | | October 10, 2024

It’s October, and we all know what that means in California: pretending to enjoy cozy fall activities when it’s 90 degrees out, and trying not to make eye contact with your employee handbook, which somehow needs to be updated for 2025 already.

Our annual handbook seminar on November 14, 2024, will, of course, cover everything you need to know to comply with the new laws. But, we also want to make sure our annual handbook seminar addresses the policy and handbook topics you are most interested in, even if it’s not a new legal requirement.

What policies and issues would you like us to discuss this year?  Attendance?  Sick leave?  Enforcement?  All policy and handbook-related questions are on the table!  You are more likely to get in-depth coverage of your topic if you let us know at least a few weeks in advance. Please email your ideas and requests to dgill@shawlawgroup.com, and we will see you soon!
