Jennifer Shaw joined “The Afternoon News with Kitty O’Neal” to discuss California’s new “No Robo Bosses Act” (SB 947) and the use of artificial intelligence in the workplace.

Signed by Governor Gavin Newsom on September 30, 2026, the law prohibits employers from relying solely on automated decision-making systems to fire or discipline employees and requires human oversight and verification when these tools assist in those decisions. Listen to the interview here
