Every employer, regardless of size, must properly complete an I-9 form for every new employee. Sounds easy, right? Not quite! A recent article revealed that 76% of I-9s contain an error. And, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officials regularly conduct Form I-9 inspections and issue fines for non-compliance. In July 2019 alone, they issued more than 3,000 Notices of Inspection.
