WEBINAR

More frequently than ever, employers must conduct internal investigations of workplace issues. In these interactive webinars, attendees will learn the keys to conducting effective investigations, including:

  • Applicable legal requirements
  • Methods for conducting investigations during the COVID-19 crisis
  • Developing an effective workplan and investigation strategy
  • The art of conducting witness interviews
  • Compiling and analyzing evidence
  • Drafting investigation reports that will stand up in court
  • Working with internal resources to take appropriate action after the investigation
  • Preventing retaliation and future misconduct

Because of COVID-19 restrictions, the format of this year’s workshop (with all new material, of course!) is a two-part “live” webinar. On May 20, 2020, we will discuss the law and best practices. On May 27, 2020, you will practice your skills and participate in a mock investigation.

Attendees will receive our trademarked “Investigator’s Manual” with checklists, sample interview outlines, and a sample investigation report. This is a fun, unique opportunity to hone your investigation skills in a safe and supportive environment. The registration cost is per person and includes both dates.

This program is updated annually. Register now, and bring all of your questions! Certificates provided upon completion.

NOTES

Cost: $499 per person. Price includes both webinars. Group discounts are available.

Certificates of completion will be provided. MCLE credit is available.

* Refunds only available if we receive your cancellation by May 13, 2020.
