Effectively managing leaves of absence and the reasonable accommodation process can be challenging for even the most experienced HR professionals.
In Part 2 of our two-part annual update, attendees will learn about the interactive process and reasonable accommodations, including:
- When is attendance an essential function of a job?
- What is required to properly document the interactive process?
- When is a leave of absence a reasonable accommodation?
- How far can employers go in enforcing performance standards when an employee has a disability?
- How can employers effectively manage employees on intermittent medical leave?
Using case studies and hypotheticals, attendees will apply these laws in real world situations to gain a better understanding of how they work and interact with one another. This program is updated every year!
